The volume is most conspicuous for its many hand-colored drawings of external ailments. All drawings are accompanied by explanatory text. The colors are bright but, due to water damage damage, have often penetrated larger areas. The illustrations are special in that the patients shown have a rather personal touch. The text is written in black and red. Average calligraphy; 22.4 × 14.0. Writing paper made from young bamboo. Fine black line 1 cm below upper edge of each page. No further liens or frames |
