It is said in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu Ti Yao-Xiao Xue Lei Cun Mu that this book was completed in A.D.1592. The book was made in the style of Qian Zi Wen, saying that each sentence herein is of four characters for the purpose of inspiring the children. However, many characters were written in a simple and changing way without definition and interpretation attached herein, which is of little use for the beginners. | |
